BPM Worklist : Japanese Characters not Allowed in Participant Name and Business Rule Name (Doc ID 3039739.1)

Symptoms

In BPM worklist, the following error occurs when creating a new Participant Name and Business Rule Name with a name containing Japanese characters.
Clicking on existing Participant Name and Business Rule Name containing Japanese characters also display an error.

Information
The valid participant name required. Only letters, numbers, '.' and '_' is allowed.

Error: The format is incorrect.
Valid participant name required. Only letters, numbers, dots and underscores allowed.

Error: The format is incorrect.
Business rule name must contain only letters and numbers, and must start with a letter


STEPS
1. Sign in and open BPM worklist
2. Click name on top right corner  > Administration > Task Configuration
3. Search task  (Example: ProjectStatusNotificationApproval ) and click
4. Click Edit Task icon
5. Click Assignees tab
6. Click Add Stage > Add Sequencial Stage
7. Click Add Participant
8. Enter Participant name including Japanese Character such as

マネージャ承認

9. On [Asignees based on]  select 「Rule-based」
10. Enter Business rule including Japanese Character such as

部長承認

-->

Error: The format is incorrect.
Business rule name must contain only letters and numbers, and must start with a letter
