"An error occurred while processing your request" When Clicking 'View Log' in a Notification for a P6 Web Scheduled Project XER Export Job (Doc ID 3040610.1)

Symptoms

When checking View Log in a notification for a scheduled XER export job, the following error occurs:

Error: An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In P6 Web, navigate to Administration > Scheduled Services >Project.
  2. Create a scheduled Export XER/XML job and wait until it completes.
  3. Select the job notification message and click View Log.
  4. The reported error displays.
