P6 XML/XER Project Import Failed To Complete. (Doc ID 3044443.1)

Symptoms

On : 24.8 version, Cloud: Schedule, Progress and Tasks

When attempting to import a project from P6 XER or XML file, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Unable to Complete P6 XER/XML Project Import.

STEPS

  1. Log into OPC.
  2. Navigate to view all project->Select target workspace->Actions->Import from P6.
  3. Select XER file and process import.
  4. It failed with generic error as displayed.
  5. The same happens to P6 XML file for the same project.
