SIOCS Allows Non-ranged Consignment And Non-inventory Items To Receive Inventory Adjustments (Doc ID 3048119.1)

Symptoms

Non-ranged consignment items that have inventoriable flag set to False are allowed to be Inventory adjusted in SIOCS without being prevented from completing the transaction.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Non inventory items cannot be added. Consignment and Concession can be added as long as they are inventory items. If they are non inventory items then they cannot be added and should not be allowed.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Identify a consignment item and another item flagged as non-inventory.
2. Identify a store which is not ranged for either item
3. Log into SOCS and change to the store not ranged for either item
4. Navigate to Inventory Management > Inventory Adjustments > CREATE
5. Select Reason Code STOCK IN
6. Input the first item (non-ranged Consignment)
7. User is warned the item is not ranged and asks if they wish to continue. Click YES. The item should have been prevented from being added prior to this point as the item is Consigment in the middle of inv adjustment functionality.
8. Set the adjustment quantity to 100 as Override
9. Input the second item (non-ranged non-inventory)
10. User is warned the item is not ranged and asks if they wish to continue. Click YES. The item should have been prevented from being added prior to this point as the item is non-inventory in the middle of inv adjustment functionality.
11. Set the adjustment quantity to 100 as Override.
12. Confirm the adjustments.
