Incorrect Pop Up Dialog For DSD On The Fly For Discontinued Item
(Doc ID 3048121.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Store Operations Cloud Service - Version 24.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When attempting to add a discontinued item to a DSD on the fly, the pop message to the user is incorrect and needs to be changed.
Current Message:
The item is discontinued, are you sure you want to use this item?
No Yes
Expected Result:
Based on the Oracle document if an item is in 'C' (Discontinued) status, item is sellable but cannot be ordered from a supplier. That makes sense, however, the message should not ask me if I want to continue. That makes it sound to the user like this is an allowed situation. The message should state that the item is in discontinued status and cannot be added to the order with an OK button as acknowledgement.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log onto SOCS MAF UI
2. Select Shipping / Receiving > DSD Receiving > Create Receipt > Create Container
3. Add an Item that is in Status C
4. Click Yes on the pop up.
Nothing happens. The message needs to be changed.
