Applies to:
OCI Database Management Service - Version N/A and laterEnterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 10.1.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Creating an Alarm with the "oracle_oci_database" namespace would create an Alarm for the Database Management.
Navigating to Main Menu --> Observability & Management --> Database Management --> Administration
Click on the Database --> Under Resources --> Alarm Definitions --> We can find the created Alarm for Database Management.
Trying to edit an Alarm and add a new Trigger Rule. Save the Alarm with an Empty Trigger rule will work.
The Alarm edited would no more be listed in the Database Management, Alarm Definitions page.
But, the same Alarm would still be listed in the Monitoring Status --> Alarm Definitions page.
