Blockchain Platform Cloud Service - Version N/A to N/AInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The User encountered a scenario where RestProxy's event delivery seemed to behave differently in two situations:
Scenario 1: Access token retrieval succeeds, but event posting fails due to a client issue. The retries start with a 1-second interval and exponentially increase up to 120 seconds. After that, the retries continue with a constant 120-second gap, which equates to about 23 hours in total.
Scenario 2: An error occurs while fetching the access token. RestProxy attempts to fetch the access token for the full 720 times without any delays, unlike in Scenario 1. The user wanted clarification on whether the event would eventually be dropped or continue to be retried. They expressed concern that the event could be dropped within a few seconds or minutes, which would be problematic.
