(Doc ID 3050615.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 30, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Store Operations Cloud Service - Version 24.1 to 24.1 [Release 24.1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Whenever last damaged units of store are scanned in RTV to accept the request, SOCS pops up an error.
' the return qty cant be greater than unavailable stock qty'
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a custom shipment reason code: damaged/defective.
2. Ensure 2 items are having quantity total 10 and quantity nonsellable 10 on a location.
e.g. perform inventory adjustment using reason 'damage hold' to move the items to sub bucket - trouble.
3. Create an RTV from RMFCS for qty 10 on both items
4. In RTV scan first item one by one till you reach 5.
5. After scanning the item 5th time (reaching qty 5).
6. Observe error ' the return qty cant be greater than unavailable stock qty'. press Ok.
7. Scan for the second time but this time scan till qty 2, then manually input the value 10.
8. Observe again error ' the return qty cant be greater than unavailable stock qty'. press Ok.
9. After, delete the qty 10 and override with qty 8. This time the error is not triggered.
Note: SOCS should allow to scan all items since there is enough qty under unavailable sub bucket.
Msg still pops up even when scanned or qty entered manually. There is no workaround.
