Column and Query Tabs on UDR Edit Page Causes "Page Unresponsive" Messages from Browser or Are Slow to Load (Doc ID 3050816.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

When attempting to edit UDRs, the browser page frequently becomes unresponsive. Particularly when clicking on the columns tab or set a query. There are frequent popups of "Page unresponsive" and it can take several minutes for the columns tab to show, or the query page to fully load.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

Users should not be getting page unresponsive page at any time. Windows should open within seconds.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier.
  2. Navigate to Workspace > user mode > Reports > User Defined.
  3. Navigate to problem report, select edit from gear icon.
  4. Click on columns tab, notice the Page Unresponsive message popup, click wait. Notice that this message comes up several times, and keep on clicking on wait. columns tab will load after a couple of minutes.
  5. Scroll through the available columns pane on right and notice the same behavior of the Page Unresponsive message popping up.
  6. Click on query tab > Add > Query Condition based on Data Element. Click on the Data Element Picker. Notice the same behavior with Page Unresponsive messages popping up.
