Oracle Fusion Learning Cloud: Global Access Group Not Working for Courses in Redwood Learning

Symptoms
After setting up an Access Group on a Course, the Access Group is still visible to all users.
The other behavior being observed is that no users part of that Access Group can see the Course.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Go to My Client Groups->Learning->Global Access Groups->Create a Global Access Group.
- Add the Global Access Group access group to a Course.
- Configure the Manage Default Access settings on the Course so that only users in the Access Group can view the Course.
- Users on the Access Group try searching for the Course but they cannot find it when going to Me->Learning->Click Search tab.
- Users who are not part of the Access Group may also able to view the Course.
