Symptoms

You have a Pro*C Application that you are able to compile and run with no problems.

You add a PL/SQL block to your Pro*C application.

 

At Precompile time of Pro*C Application:

 

PCC-S-02201, Found syntax error
PCC-S-02000, SQL statement ingnored
PCC-S-02346, PL/SQL found semantic errors


After adding a PL/SQL block ,may also be getting

PLS-S-00201, identifier '%s' must be declared
PLS-S-00000, SQL Statement ignored


The PLS-201 refers to a database object, such as a table, package, procedure, or function, which is referenced inside a PL/SQL block.
