Symptoms

Running Oracle release 10g on OpenVMS

Even though the file SQLNET.ORA is present in the correct directory

(TNS_ADMIN or ORA_ROOT:[network.admin]) and contains the correct settings, no Client or Server trace files are produced.

Changes


The TNS_ADMIN:SQLNET.ORA file has been created manually or copied from an earlier release.
