Purpose

You would like to activate your Physical Standby Database and open it in read/write Mode and you don't care about whether the Standby is in-sync with your Primary before activation.

If you would like your Standby Database is in-sync with your Primary Database before activation, please don't follow the Steps in this Document. Please perform the Failover Steps in the Document below instead.
