ORA-4031 Errors Raised On Instance Startup For "PX msg pool" or "CTWR dba buffer" Allocations In The Large Pool (Doc ID 1265314.1)

Symptoms

Trying to start the instance raises ORA-4031 errors on the large pool , like in:

ORA-04031: unable to allocate 15937368 bytes of shared memory ("large pool","unknown object","large pool","PX msg pool")


Due to this the instance may fail to start.

There may or may not be a current SQL reported in the trace file:

----- Current SQL Statement for this session (sql_id=6mzcys0wut6c9) -----
ALTER DATABASE MOUNT


The call stack will resemble:
