Symptoms
After upgrade to 11g, or in a database created in 11g, it is noticed that the following statement is at the top of or near the top of the AWR report SQL statistics for 'SQL ordered by Elapsed Time':
This SQL may also be a top consumer for 'SQL ordered by Elapsed Time', 'SQL ordered by CPU Time', 'SQL ordered by Gets' 'SQL ordered by Reads', etc.
Changes
This can occur after upgrade to the 11g RDBMS, or in a database created at 11g.
