Symptoms
Getting the following error using an application after upgrading to 11.2 - application has submitted a serialized transaction.
ORA-08177: can't serialize access for this transaction
Transaction had worked without error on previous version of Oracle.
Changes
In Oracle 11.2, the default segment creation is now deferred and not immediate as in previous versions.
