RMAN-20201 RMAN-06010 Errors when listing backup of datafile with RMAN (Doc ID 1300924.1)

Symptoms

When trying to list backup of a datafile, receiving an error, when run from standby database:

RMAN> list backup of datafile 52;
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-03002: failure of list command at 03/01/2011 23:18:05
RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20201: datafile not found in the recovery catalog
RMAN-06010: error while looking up datafile: 52

Changes

New datafiles have been added in the primary database and the primary database and no resync of the catalog has been performed from the primary database with the recovery catalog.
