O/S errors EDC5037I or EDC5049I are reported when specifying WHENEVER OSERROR EXIT (Doc ID 1321095.1)

Symptoms

The following error messages may be displayed if SET PAGESIZE 0, and WHENEVER OSERROR EXIT.... are in effect:

O/S Message: EDC5049I The specified file name could not be located (errno2=0xC00B0641)

O/S Message: EDC5037I The specified ddname was not found (errno2=0xC00B05B1)


 
SQL statement execution is halted, and SQLPLUS execution is terminated.
If either of  the WHENEVER OSERROR EXIT or SET PAGESIZE 0 statements are removed, no errors occur, and the SQL statement executes correctly.

Changes

Upgrade of the Oracle Client to 10.2 from 9.2
