PROC Command Produces A Huge Core Dump And Hangs After Migrating From Oracle 9i to Oracle 11g 11.2 (Doc ID 1350551.1)

After migrating from 9i (9.2.0.x) to 11.2.0.1, the proc command hangs and produces a huge core dump, no *.lis or *.c files were generated.

The process status "ps -ef | grep proc" shows proc process is running and "top" command shows proc on top of the list.

The following command hangs:

fscn% proc PARSE=PARTIAL code=ANSI_C sqlcheck=full userid=/ iname=vingcard
