Symptoms

An IOT appears to be corrupted when you attempt to move LOB data in partitions however,
selecting against the same table may be successful

You will need the following for this to be relevant

  • IOT
  • LOBs
  • Mapping table
  • ALTER TABLE MOVE or related movement of the table such a TTS

You may potentially also be using:

  • Partitions or Subpartitions

Attempting to move data from an IOT with LOBs to a new location using the ALTER TABLE MOVE statement
