Using version 11.2.0.1 Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) and the Oracle database running on an AIX v5r3 64 bit platform the following error occurs when selecting from a DATE type column -

ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
[DataDirect][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver][UDB DB2 for OS/390 and z/OS]STRING
REPRESENTATION OF DATETIME VALUE NOT VALID DATETIME VALUE.
