Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version to [Release 10.2 to 11.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After partitioning the Oracle Security AUD$ table, the following errors are reported:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kcbgtcr_1], [0], [0], [1], [620], [], [], []
Current SQL statement for this session:
   select ... from indpart$ ...

Call Stack:
...kcbgtcr ktrgtc kdifbk kdlopen kdl_length koklglen koklc_length kole_length...

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgiopn()+1536] [SIGSEGV] [Invalid permissions for mapped object] [0x000000040] [] []
Current SQL statement for this session:
   select ... from tabpart$ ...

Call Stack:
...kgiopn kokaopc kokacau rpiswu2 kokasuc kokavpr koklcprv koklglfn koklglen koklc_length kole_length ...

A further symptom can be that PMON reports similar errors for the same tables:

ORA-00600 [kokliihdl333]
ORA-00600 [kcbgtcr_1]

and then terminates the instance.
