Infiniband commands are not working after applying the minimal patch on Exadata DB nodes (Doc ID 1385752.1)

Applies to:

Oracle Exadata Storage Server Software - Version 11.2.2.2.2 and later
Linux x86-64
This is applicable only to compute nodes running on OL 5.3 version


Symptoms


After applying the minimal patch on DB nodes,the infiniband commands are failing with below error


[<ROOT_USER>@<HOSTNAME> ~]# ibnetdiscover
ibnetdiscover: error while loading shared libraries: libibmad.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Changes

upgraded to  11.2.2.3.2 or 11.2.2.4.0
