Queries on XML Audit Trail Views Crash With: ORA 600 [KZAXGFL:IDX] (Doc ID 1392161.1)

Queries run on views built on XML audit files (v$xml_audit_trail or dba_common_audit_trail) fail with the error: ORA-00600 [KZAXGFL:IDX]

Changes

Error is 11.2 specific.
From 11.2, the xml index file is dynamically created before creating the xml file list.
This file is specific to the process as opposed to generic index file present is older versions and will have the PID suffix with the index filename.
Once the operation is done, this file is deleted.
The error appears when the file is deleted for some reason.
Doing tests and manually deleting the adx_*.txt file results in the same error:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kzaxgfl:idx], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
