Goal

 This note provides a methodology for setting up and configuring the monitoring of an Oracle Database Appliance using Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.  The note assumes a working knowledge of both Enterprise Manager and the Oracle Database Appliance.

This note covers installation and configuration of Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c.  It assumes an Oracle Database Appliance machine deployed per Oracle standards.  Discussion of naming conventions, architectural divisions of an Oracle Database Appliance are out of scope.
