Symptoms


Using the Oracle Database Gateway for SQL Server (DG4MSQL) 11.2.0.3 on HP-UX Itanium a SELECT of two columns, one defined as uniqueidentifier, fails with error -

 

ORA-28528: Heterogeneous Services datatype conversion error
ORA-02063: preceding line from ROADS_LINK



A SELECT of either column individually works fine
