Symptoms
An 11.1.0.7 Oracle database experiences the following behaviour: there exist active undo segments without actual transaction presence. 95-98% of undo space is consuming by ACTIVE undo segments, and consumed space continues to increase despite the absence of transactions. We have to increase tablespace size constantly.
