Symptoms
We expected that SQL execution will be cancelled after 10 minutes with ORA-40 error when using Resource Manager SWITCH_TIME to CANCEL_SQL, but It is getting cancelled after 12mins or sometimes runs indefinitely. Also can not use SWITCH_TIME_IN_CALL which is Deprecated.
So because of this we cannot use the feature of cancelling the query based on resource manager plans,
which are running fine before upgrade to 11gR2, now the resource consumer group doesn't seems to work as expected.
Changes
Upgraded the database to 11.2.0.2 (11gR2)
