Symptoms
- AWR reports "direct path sync" wait events in the Top 5 Wait events
- ASH report indicates the object where it is occurring is a table, for example:
- Describe of table mytab reveals that the table includes a lob column
- Initialization parameter filesystemio_options is not set or set to none.
