Symptoms
Slow performance or hang on views:
KU$_INDEX_COL_VIEW
KU$_INDEX_VIEW
KU$_IND_SUBPART_VIEW,
KU$_IND_COMPART_VIEW,
KU$_IND_SUBNAME_VIEW and
KU$_IND_PART_VIEW
is seen in 11.2.0.3 when using any of the following functionality:
- SLOW PERFORMANCE ON EXPDP FUNCTIONAL AND BITMAP INDEXES
- Datapump INDEX EXPORT PERFOMANCE IS SLOW, COMPARED TO EXP
- QUERY AGAINST KU$_INDEX_VIEW SLOW IN 11.2.0.3
- SLOW INDEX EXPORT DUE TO PERFORMANCE ISSUE WITH METADATA KU$_INDEX_COL_VIEW
- DATA PUMP PERFORMANCE FOR ESTIMATE=STATISTICS IN EXPORT IS BAD
- IMPDP FAILS WITH ORA-31693,ORA-06502,ORA-01403
- EXPDP HANGS WHEN USING EXCLUDE CLAUSE WITH DICTIONARY QUERY
- EXPDP SLOW FOR TABLES, INDEXES, CONSTRAINTS AND ALTER_PROCEDURE
- general performance problems that might require the usage or review of KU$ Index views
