Goal

After a new ODA (Oracle Database Appliance) deploy or after a database creation using oakcli command ("oakcli create database -db") the database is created without any options such: Oracle JVM, Oracle Text, Oracle XML DB, Oracle Multimedia, Oracle OLAP, Oracle Spatial, Enterprise Manager, Oracle Application Express, Oracle Warehouse Builder. If later you want to add one or more options you could follow the steps described by this article.

 HowTo Configure Database Options after database creation 
 1. Connect as oracle OS user to your ODA node using an Xterminal (xterm)
 2. Run DBCA (DataBase Configuration Assistant), setting up the right ORACLE_HOME & PATH env variables
 3. Choose "Configure Database Options"
 4. Select the database you want to configure
 5. Configure Enterprise Manager DB Console (optional)
 6. Provide the ASMSNMP password
 7. Go to "Standard Database Components"
 8. Choose the Standard Database Components
 9. Add aditional options
 10. Setup database credentials
 11. Connection Mode
 12. Run the configuration
 13. Database options configuration confirmation
 14. Check the database options status
