You would like to take RMAN backups on Direct NFS mounted file systems.

Symptoms

You would like to take RMAN backups on Direct NFS mounted file systems.

You have configured Direct NFS using the following documents:

NFS options for 11.2.0.2 RMAN disk backups on Linux 64-bit (Doc ID 1117597.1)
Step by Step - Configure Direct NFS Client (DNFS) on Linux (Doc ID 762374.1)

Changes

DNFS is enabled per above documents but you still do not see any entries in v$dnfs_servers.
