HP Itanium: Parallel query secondary background process spins while consuming high CPU (Doc ID 1536174.1)

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 11.2.0.1 and later
HP-UX Itanium

Symptoms

Symptoms:

* Platform is HP/UX Itanium
* After executing oradebug short_stack on a parallel query secondary background process, it is spinning and consuming high CPU
* Usually, the query which is using that PQ process stalls and makes no further progress.

Please note, oradebug short_stack is used in the following conditions:

1) By ProcWatcher - Note: 459694.1 
2) When a systemstate dump is taken at level 256 or higher (or if event 10998 is set)
3) By internal database diagnostic code when an abnormal condition is detected
4) Manually via sqlplus with "oradebug short_stack"
