Symptoms

The MOVIE_FACT_EXT_TAB_TXT table is described in the Oracle Big Data Connectors User's Guide documentation, in the section on Oracle SQL Connector for Hadoop Distributed File System.

 

Selecting from an Oracle External Table which is populated using Oracle SQL Connector for Hadoop Distributed File System (OSCH) fails with the following error:

SQL> select * from "ORACLE"."MOVIE_FACT_EXT_TAB_TXT";
