Symptoms

1) ACFS filesystem hangs on AIX. Processes hang (in a non-killable state) when accessing files in an ACFS file system.

2) Creating, closing, reading, deleting or listing files on the ACFS filesystem are not possible and just hanged (e.g. ls, cd, etc.).

3) Processes blocked in a non-killable state accessing files on ACFS, running on AIX.  Generally, there will be two processes involved in the deadlock, one will be in ofsvn_close() with a kernel stack similar to:
 

5) Neither of these processes will be killable.
