DG4ODBC Cannot Connect To Netezza With Native Error 364 and Sqlstate 366 or Native Error 67 (Doc ID 1600905.1)

Using Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) on AIX to connect to a Netezza database using DataDirect ODBC Driver for Netezza gives errors on connection.

A connection using an odbc test utility works fine.

The following errors may be seen in a gateway trace file -

hgopoer, line 231: got native error 364 and sqlstate 366; message follows...

hgocont, line 2755: calling SqlDriverConnect got sqlstate 366

or the following errors in a SQLPLUS session -

ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
Optional feature not implemented {HYC00,NativeErr = 67}
ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines from DWHNZ
