DG4ODBC Cannot Connect To Netezza With Native Error 364 and Sqlstate 366 or Native Error 67 (Doc ID 1600905.1)

Symptoms

Using Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) 11.2.0.3 on AIX to connect to a Netezza database using DataDirect ODBC Driver for Netezza gives errors on connection.

A connection using an odbc test utility works fine.

The following errors may be seen in a gateway trace file -

ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
