Symptoms

The abrtd daemon running on the system where DB2 is installed detects a crash in the Oracle Database Gateway for DRDA (DG4DRDA) dg4db2 process.

abrtd is a daemon that watches for application crashes. When a crash occurs, it collects the crash data (core file, application's command line etc.)

In the /var/log/messages file the following messages occur:
