The LABEL column in v$asm_disk view is NULL (Doc ID 1638130.1)

Goal

Disk labels are not showing up in the v$asm_disk view. When trying to select name, label from v$asm_disk the label column for all disks is null.

Question:

1. Is there a bug with this issue or is there a simple fix that I do not know about?
2. The name also does not appear for the new disks that are in PROVISIONED status in the HEADER_STATUS of the v$asm_disk view.
