Goal

The purpose of this article is to illustrate how to create a VM template from a Guest VM running on Oracle Database Appliance Virtualized Platform.

 VM Guest running from local storage repository
 1. Stop the VM running on local repository
 2. Check in which local repository your vm is running
 3. Package the current VM as a template.tgz file
 4. Import it as a vmtemplate 
 4. Remove the source vm template

 2. Check in which local repository your vm is running
 3. Package the current VM as a template.tgz file
