Purpose
This is a walk-through Tutorial with plenty of screenshots to teach you how to configure an Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (SES) 11.2.2.2.0 with a WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8.
Scope
This document is intended for WebCenter Portal Administrators who need to integrate WebCenter Portal with SES.
Although most likely the same steps would work with any WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8.x versions, the steps were only tested with a WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8.0, and SES 11.2.2.2.0.
Note, the URLs HOSTs, IP addresses, paths, credentials settings etc. mentioned in this document mimic the values of an internal test environment. You will need to change these settings to match your own environment.
