This article aims to use case studies to document how to set up multilingual and multi characterset database environments. All cases will include examples of NLS_LANG and other variable settings at different sites and settings of the database characterset.
First of all an introduction will talk about general considerations when setting up a multilingual environment; after that several case studies will put those considerations into practice.
