Purpose
This document provides instructions for how to upgrade/patch Oracle SQL Connector for Hadoop Distributed File System (OSCH) on the BDA.
The note uses an example of upgrading to a one-off patched version of OSCH 3.0.0 on Oracle Big Data Appliance 3.*/4.0.0. The OSCH rpm used in the example is called: orahdfs-3.2.0_beta-1.noarch.rpm.
It is necessary to open an SR with BDA Support to request/obtain the specific OSCH version/patch required.
Scope
Generally patched OSCH rpms will not be available externally on MOS and are provided by request via an Oracle SR.
