Symptoms
An AQ PURGE operation: DBMS_AQADM.PURGE_QUEUE_TABLE() appears to be taking too long.
So, the job is killed.
However, the following high wait events are then observed;
'Latch free'
'channel operations parent latc' (latch)
On examination, the AQ SUBSCRIBER table AQ$_<QUEUE_TABLE_NAME>_N has a high count i.e. 247,368,653
