Messages enqueued with a delay are not dequeued immediately once they are made READY

A message is enqueued into a queue with a variable delay.

The messages are dequeued via a scheduled job which runs every second.

A difference of the order of 1-3 seconds is observed between the ending of the delay and the dequeue time.
