Goal
We have two two-node RAC databases one at 11.2.0.3 and one at 12.1.0.2 that are intended to run using NUMA.
We have set the parameter "_enable_NUMA_support" to true on both databases, but when we list out the numa related parameters
We find that on 11.2.0.3 the setting for "_px_numa_support_enabled" is TRUE, whereas on 12.1.0.2 the value is FALSE.
Our question is:
Will this difference affect parallel executions differently between the two version? We set the NUMA parameter following MOS note 864633.1
which details the process for 11gR2 we could not find an equivalent note for 12c.
