Symptoms
When trying to startup the database the following is seen:
conn / as sysdba
startup
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel"
The error reported in the alert.log is:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ksfd_reread_resilver()+340] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x6000D698] [PC:0x5F1B2FC] [Address not mapped to object] []
The call stack in the incident trace file written by the error has the following functions:
