ORA-3115 When Running Queries in a PDB or trying to Switch the Container of a Session (Doc ID 1994827.1)

Symptoms

An ORA-3115 'unsupported network datatype or representation' is received when running a query within a PDB or when trying to use 'ALTER SESSION SET CONTAINER...' in order to switch to a different PDB:

  

The same (and other queries) are running fine on the CDB level.

Changes

The PDB was unplugged from a CDB that is using a different Timezone File than the receiving CDB instance.
