How to Drop Master Repgroup (Doc ID 200285.1)

Symptoms

You have dropped the group at the Master Definition Site, without dropping
it from the other Master Site. At the Master Site when you execute:

SQL> exec dbms_repcat.drop_master_repgroup('MASTER_GRP', false, false);

BEGIN dbms_repcat.drop_master_repgroup('MASTER_GRP', false, false); END;

You query the global_name and the system.repcat$_repschema as shown below:

SQL> select * from global_name;

GLOBAL_NAME
-------------------------------------------------------------------
TEST.IDC.ORACLE.COM


SQL> select sname, dblink from system.repcat$_repschema;

SNAME DBLINK
------------------------------ ------------------------------------
MASTER_GRP ORA901.IDC.ORACLE.COM
MASTER_GRP ORA817.IDC.ORACLE.COM
