NFSv3 Exports Not Mounting After Exadata Node Upgrade From OL5.10 To OL6.6 (Doc ID 2006173.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading Exadata X4-2 Data Base nodes from patch version 12.1.1.1.1 to 12.1.2.1.0 which updates Operating System from Oracle Linux version 5.10 to 6.6 the 2.6.39 and above kernel uses default NFSv4, when trying to use NFSv3 the mount procedure fails with the following errors:
