Symptoms
11.2/12c[12.1.0.2.1] DNFS Databases is reporting the following message:
7) There is a 5 minute wait, as shown above, before DNFS reconnects the mounts. Once it is reconnected, activity can resume. However, at the OS level, they only have about a 2-3 minute wait for the switchover of the pools to complete. After that time, the local NFS mounts are available for reading/writing. But within the database, there is that exactly 5 minute wait. Even SQL*Plus queries hang until the "Direct NFS: channel is up" message.
8) The problem is not present on databases using regular NFS.
